- This is probably an old MFM hard drive, the same technology used in PC HD
- Floppys. These will not function with the IDE or SCSI(?) controller, in your
- A2000 (?) or A1200 (?). What you could do is get yourself an XT or AT bridge
- board for your A2000 (Sourcing could be difficult, but cheap if you can find
- one) and a old PC MFM HD controller card for one of the PC slots in your 2000
- (you can pick them up for less than 5 UKpounds, around $10 I guess, from the
- surplus ad's in any electronics mag [ETI, E&WW etc.]) and youv'e got yourself
- an exceedingly cheap and exceedingly crap PC - and found a use for your
- veritable mountain of hard drives !!
-
- Alternatively you could send them all to me !!??@#
-
- cheers,
- Jon.
